The Mosaic Birds Double Poppy Feeder with Perch allows songbirds to perch side by side while sampling treats from the two feeder bowls while other curious visitors enjoy the lower level perch to rest and enjoy the surroundings. The powder-coated metal is constructed to withstand the elements yet bring a streamlined contemporary look to this unique design. At 1 1/2" high, the detachable dishes are compact yet suitable height for providing a feast of delectable mealworms for insect loving birds such as Bluebirds, Chickadees, Woodpeckers, Robins, Titmice, and Wrens. Berries, sunflower hearts, softened fruits, peanuts, suet crumbles, and even pieces of cornmeal muffin are good sources of additional protein and fuel whether your friends have come from miles away or are just zipping around your garden. Included are two sets of washers: One to provide drainage of water to keep seeds and other foods fresh and free of decay. The other to lock in liquids, creating a tight seal when offering water or high energy snacks such as grape jelly.
